Hopkins House announced today that it will celebrate its 75th year of continuous, uninterrupted education services to children, youths, and families, with two days of events.

On Friday, October 31, the organization will host Community Fun Day at its campuses in Alexandria, Fairfax County, and Herndon, Virginia.  The activities will include games, balloons, face painting, and other activities for the 320 children enrolled at its preschool academies, their families, and the public.

On Saturday, November 1, the organization will host a Venetian Masquerade Scholarship Ball.  Held at the elegant Belle Haven Country Club, proceeds from this formal black-tie affair will fund preschool scholarships for children from low-resourced and military families.

Be’la Dona, an all-female band considered one of the hottest bands in the Washington, DC area, and emerging top musical group, Chelsey Green and The Green Project, are the featured artists at the ball.

Information and tickets are available on the Hopkins House website.
