New Vice President Appointed

Hopkins House announced the appointment of Alvin T. Butler, Jr. as Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Butler is currently the organization's Assistant Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, a post he has held since 2011.
"Having served as our CFO, Alvin brings to this new role, a unique and valuable perspective regarding Hopkins House's resources and capacity for continued advancement," said Hopkins House President, J. Glenn Hopkins, in announcing the appointment.
In this position, Mr. Butler is the highest ranking officer after the president and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization. He has a Master's degree in financial management and accounting, and over a decade of progressive management experience.
Mr. Butler assumes this position on September 1, succeeding Vice President Raymel Menefee who leaves Hopkins House at the end of August.
