Hopkins House's Helen Day Preschool Academy was again ranked among the top preschools in the region by Northern Virginia Magazine. This is the third time the academy has been ranked among the best since the magazine began rating preschools in 2010.

 

"We are so excited and so happy," said Helen Day Preschool Principal Michelle Feh. "To be voted among the best preschools in the area by parents of our current and former students is really special and very meaningful for us."

 

The magazine’s rankings are based on an online survey of its readers. Of the hundreds of child care providers in the region, 85 day cares and preschools were recommended by fellow readers.

 

"It's such a great feeling to know that parents and others recognize our efforts and applaud the work we do, helping our preschool Young Scholars prepare for a lifetime of achievement," said Feh.
 
"We work very hard to provide the best early care and education for our preschool Young Scholars. Our educators are highly educated and experienced. Our facilities are state-of-the-art, clean, and safe. We use a nationally recognized early childhood education curriculum. We are nationally accredited. And, parents are involved and very supportive. The positive impact of all these things clearly shows in the developmental outcomes of our students and the recognition from parents."
