In recognition of the hard work and dedication of the thousands of Early Childhood Education professionals in the Commonwealth of Virginia who work with children from birth through age 12 and older, as well as those who support their work, Governor McAuliffe issued a proclamation today declaring Friday, May 8, as Early Childhood Professionals' Day. 

 

"We applaud the Governor for this action," said Hopkins House President J. Glenn Hopkins.  "It helps to inform the public about the important work Early Childhood Professionals in the Commonwealth are doing to prepare our young people for a future of success and achievement."
