This Hopkins House Employee Policy Book provides general policy guidelines for employment, benefits, salary administration, and services available to staff members of the Organization.

The policies and procedures in this policy book generally apply to all staff (collectively designated "employees") of the Organization. This policy book does not constitute a contract of employment or promise of any kind. Staff members covered by this policy book are employed on an at-will basis, meaning that either the employee or Hopkins House may end the employment relationship at any time or for any or no reason.

Hopkins House reserves the right to determine the applicability of any policy to a particular situation and to depart from the guidelines contained herein in a given case, and the Organization may change these guidelines unilaterally and without notice.

Questions about the contents and use of this policy book should be addressed first to the human resources office. The principal function of this policy book is to serve as a reference for human resource professionals, department heads and supervisors concerned with the administration of personnel policies, and employees.
