75th Anniversary Celebration Plans Announced

Hopkins House announced plans to mark its 75th year of continuous, uninterrupted education programs for children, youth and families. The organization plans two days of activities this fall, featuring a family fun day, scholarship ball, and an anniversary luncheon in spring.
Each of the organization's three preschool academies will host a family fun day on Friday, October 31. These events will be free and open to the public, and feature music, food, and crafts.
On November 1, Hopkins House will host a ball at the Belle Haven Country Club in Fairfax County. This elegant black tie affair will feature dance and jazz entertainment, and food and drink. Tickets are $75 and go on sale in September. Proceeds from the ball fund scholarships for preschool children from low-resourced and military families.
Later in the spring, the organization will host a luncheon for donors.
