Adult Education Programs Department
Ms. Cermenati joined the Hopkins House staff in 2006.  She has a Bachelor's degree from National University Andres Bello (Chile) and over four years of professional child care experience.  Ms. Cermenati is a resident of Virginia.

ADJUNCT PROFESSOR - PAMELA BLANKENSHIP
Ms. Blankenship has served as Director at the ALIVE! Inc. Child Development Center for the past 7 years.  Prior to that, she was a Training and Curriculum Specialist for the U. S. Air Force. She earned her BA in Elementary Education from Michigan State University and her Master Degree from Texas Tech University.  Pamela has been working in education for over 40 years.
 
ADJUNCT PROFESSOR - SHERRY CHEVALLEY
Ms. Chevalley Is a teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools and a professor at NVCC.  She graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. 
 
ADJUNCT PROFESSOR - SHELLEY KEITH
Ms. Keith is Principal at the Helen Day Preschool Academy where she has served as such for 3 years.  She has a Master’s degree from Trident University and over 19 years of teaching experience, including early childhood and college level courses. Ms. Keith is a professional development specialist with the CDA Council, former NAEYC affiliate president and an adjunct professor.
 
ADJUNCT PROFESSOR - ALICIA STREET
Ms. Street has served as an academic advisor and coordinator for three years at University of Maryland University College (UMUC) before joining the staff of NVCC where she coordinates off campus military programs.  She has a Bachelor’s degree from North Caroline Central University and a Master’s degree from the UMUC.
