The Hopkins House Early Childhood Learning Institute (ECLI) opens a world of new opportunties through higher education and practical work experience. 

Early Childhood Education is a first step in developing a longterm and rewarding career in education. 

You can take college classes at your pace, on Saturdays and weekday evenings.  You have the support and guidance of college and career counselors.  And, tutoring and child care is available if you need it.

The Early Childhood Learning Institute (ECLI) is open to teens and adults, ages 17 years and older.  Space is limited and admissions is on a first come, first served basis.

By enrolling today, you begin your personal journey to success and achievement.
 



Enroll Now in Three Easy Steps

Hopkins House accepts applications for enrollment in the ECLI year-round, but classes start in August, January, and May.  To apply, follow these three easy steps:

  • STEP #1: Click on the following link, print the form and give to your teacher, employer, or counselor to complete and return to you in a sealed envelope:
  • STEP #2: Type a Personal Statement, a short essay (not more than 2 pages or 250 words), explaining why you want to enroll in the ECLI and what you hope to gain.  Scan your essay to your computer.  It will need to be uploaded with your online application. 
  • STEP #3: Click on the following link and complete the online application (have the Personal Statement you wrote in Step #2 ready to be uploaded at the end on your online application):
