service lets you sign up to receive
information on hundreds of topics, including vital
emergency alerts. The messages, ranging from news
releases and newsletters to parent meetings and tuition
payment deadline reminders, can be sent directly to your
PDA, pager, cell phone, or BlackBerry.
There is no cost to
sign up for eHopkinsNews, although your wireless provider
may charge you to receive text messages on
your mobile device. If you already use text
messaging, eHopkinsNews messages will work the same way.

conditions can significantly delay their
arrival. Being on the notification list is
not a substitute for monitoring your local
media (newspapers, radio, and TV) in
