TYPES OF POSITIONS: Hopkins House employs Principals, Assistant Principals, Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Secretaries for its preschool academies; and, Managers for its administrative offices.

employmentMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education positions at Hopkins House require, at minimum, a college degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education. Management and administrative positions require, at minimum, a college degree and one or more years of supervisory experience. All prospective employees must undergo criminal and child abuse background check, must be 18 years or older, and a United States citizen.

Executive Assistant / Clerk to the Board Provides administrative and organizational support to the President/CEO and the Trustees. S/He must be proactive and able to initiate projects and anticipate the President’s needs, as well as manage and coordinate Trustee tasks. Plays crucial role in maximizing the President/CEO’s time to best achieve the organization’s goals in development, communications, operations, and program areas.
 
* Must have Bachelor's degree or higher
* Must have 2 or more years of professional work experience in office management, and/or administrative/clerical support
* Must be proficient in MSOffice (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Must have exceptional writing skills
* Must be able to work regular evening hours and occasional weekends

Assists the Teacher to coordinate and implement daily preschool academy activities for the students in his/her classroom.
