TYPES OF POSITIONS: Hopkins House employs Principals, Assistant Principals, Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Secretaries for its preschool academies; and, Managers for its administrative offices.

employmentMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education positions at Hopkins House require, at minimum, a college degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education. Management and administrative positions require, at minimum, a college degree and one or more years of supervisory experience. All prospective employees must undergo criminal and child abuse background check, must be 18 years or older, and a United States citizen.

Coordinates and implements all fund development efforts to support the organization’s mission. The position requires strong interpersonal skills to engage with board members, volunteers, and donors; strong focus to monitor grant deadlines and event planning details; strong writing skills for proposals and development-related communications; and, ability to multi-task.

Assists the Teacher to coordinate and implement daily preschool academy activities for the students in his/her classroom.
 
* Must have a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate
 
* Must have 1 or more years of professional experience in a licensed child care center
 
$26,000 - $28,000
